During circle time we sing songs, count, and play games. Reading time is very important to this age group so every day we read stories. I would like to encourage you to read every night with your child at home. You can ask what books we are reading for the month and read the same ones at home.
Your child’s development is not limited to curriculum; they are also learning physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language skills. How to play with others is a big part of being a toddler, social skills are very important at this age so they can learn how to be a good friend, and behave in a classroom setting. We will also start introducing potty training by talking about being wet or poopy, and we offer the opportunity to use the potty when the child is showing signs of being interested in going potty.
We hope that each week your child will know a new letter, shape, color, or word. Thank You I look forward to having the opportunity to watch your child grow.
